TV’s Biggest Loser trainer to run sessions at Abbey Stadium

Two of the UK’s hottest fitness experts are holding a full day of exercise sessions at Redditch’s revamped Abbey Stadium next week.

Trainer Richard Callender from the hit weight loss show The Biggest Loser, along with National Head Trainer for popular fitness techniques ‘Body Jam’ and ‘Body Combat’ Phil Harrison, will be running five sessions for residents keen to work with a leading trainer and catch a sneak peek of the new £6.5m facilities in the process.

Limited tickets for the event, which runs from 11am through to 4.45pm on Sunday January 29, are £15 and available from 01527 60206.

The sessions on the day will be:

  • Urban funk, dance based, 60 minutes
  • Total body workout, boxercise, 60 minutes
  • Total soulful stretch, 45 minutes
  • Body Combat, 60 minutes
  • Body Jam, 60 minutes

Redditch Borough Council’s portfolio holder for leisure Cllr Derek Taylor said: “This promises to be a great event ahead of the full reopening of the refurbished Abbey Stadium and swimming pool. Places on this day with Richard Callender are limited and in demand, so please don’t delay, book now.”
